U.S. National Forests span 193 million acres from Alaska to Puerto Rico. Truly “The People’s Lands,” these forests, grasslands, deserts, and snow-capped mountains are some of the United State’s most cherished outdoor spaces—offering—unparalleled recreation opportunities. They also support local economies, provide critical natural resources, clean water and air, and host wildlife. The National Forest Foundation is the only conservation organization solely dedicated to improving these public lands for present and future generations. Their effective and creative approaches to conservation impact millions of Americans, annually. They accomplish our work through signature conservation initiatives, planting trees, and grant programs as they empower communities to work together and inspire millions of Americans to care for their backyard National Forests.
Core efforts include replanting national forests, preserving national parks, and raising awareness through cross-promotion and fundraising efforts for national parks.
What distinguishes the EDF from others is the combination of what they protect and how they protect it. They work to solve the most critical environmental problems facing the planet, focusing on mitigating climate change, restoring the ocean’s bounty, protecting wildlife and their habitats, and safeguarding our health. Since these topics are intertwined, solutions require a multidisciplinary approach. They work in concert with other organizations, businesses, governments, and communities to avoid duplicating work being effectively performed by others.
Core efforts include stabilizing the climate to secure a healthy future, rebuilding better for a cleaner and more equitable economy, and making communities more resilient to climate change.
From time to time, SequoiaCX works with charities and nonprofits to drive attention, cross promote, or donate our time.
Currently we are working with San Bernardino National Forest Green Thumbs and local communities in California that have been impacted by the raging wildfires this season. Together—we are helping to reshape, replant, and regrow fire-resilient green spaces.
If you’re a nonprofit or charitable organization looking to make an impact—consider partnering with SequoiaCX. We offer pro bono rates on our services to help you stand out, increase support, promote efficiencies in your internal systems, and—ultimately—grow.
